The thing that really caught my attention was when the video said that there are 5x more words than in the time of Shakespeare. Another thing that caught my attention was that about 600,000 songs where illegally downloaded in the time of the video was played. The last thing that caught my attention was facebook had millions of users all over the world and that it is avaible in over 70 different languages.

This video opens up the numerical scales of technology today. It shows us that ever since the first computer was developed we become more and more accustomed and adaptive to technology. It took only 4 years for the internet to appeal to the whole general public. It took 3 years for the apple product the iPod to become a too of the line seller. Not only is technology growing, but society as a whole as well. Our population grows exponentially, hundreds, if not thousands, of babies are born daily. What we are learning will be outdated facts before we can even finish learning it. We are growing exponentially as a whole, and it is happening faster and faster as we advance further. It's scary and exciting at the same time, but we have to notice these changes and be able to adapt and be able to use these changes to our advantage and decide whether or not these changes are what we want to have in our future.

I think this means that by 2049 the United States will be exeeded in every single aspect. One thing that caught my eye is that there are more honor students in China than we have students in the United States. Another thing that caught my eye is that half of what we learn in our first year of study will be outdated by 2049.

What I think the meaning of this video is, that the world is changing rapidly and advancing every year. For example when the video mentioned that by the time we are able to use something new, it will probably be outdated already. This change could either lead us to something beneficial or could either cause a big problem. So its something to really think or meditate about.

What got my attention the most in the video was that India has more honors kids than America. What also got my attention is if Facebook were its’ own country, it would be the third largest.

In this short video I learned that there are many other countries that are ahead of us as far as technology and education. It's scary to know all the statics that it showed us today, for example that technology is evolving so much every year. It's scary that there will be 9 billon people on the planet with in the next 9 years, how will be feed and house all of these family's?. It was a good video that caught my attention showing me these facts I didn't know about.

there is a lot that happens in this world and no one really notices. i learned that in college by our 3rd year the stuff we are learning will be outdated, and that other countries are growing and becoming to develop more technologically and physically. we wouldnt be able to control this because we cant do anything better for this country

I think this means that in a few years we will not even have jobs that we have trained for and we will have to work hard.

I think the video is trying to show that America has fewer people than most country's. So the ratios of smarter people is higher in other country's than in America.

That we are wasting money and over population in the planet and will be hard to shelter them and provide food for most people. US wouldn't be he number 1 power in the world and also that every other country are getting more advanced than us.

Some of the things in the video that we're interesting we're china could be the top place to start speaking English, also how there are billions of people on the planet . How are we going to be able to afford this there's medical, jobs , dental etc. mainly how the world is populating very fast.

This video was telling us that technology is rapidly advancing ,more people have access to technology than ever before and technology will continue to advance as the years go by.

In the video, three things that caught my attention was the amount of text messages that are sent that is almost the amount of the world's population. Another thing is Twitter reads over 600 tweets a day. The last thing is the amount of users all over the world use Facebook, which is over 80 billion.

I've already watched the video that we saw in class today like a bazillion times and what always seems to catch my attention is that we as students are currently preparing ourselves for jobs that don't even exist yet and learning about technology that hasn't even been invented yet. Whaaaaaat?! It's also pretty scary that India has more honor students than the U.S. has students!

The population of things are changing especially technology population and how it is growing and when we are in school the only things they are worried about is teaching you the right was of hard work and showmanship. Providing housing and food later in life will be hard to do

This video shows how there is a new form of intelligence that is growing. I feel that this video means that no matter how hard we try to slow the world down so we don't become over populated, the technological boom has caused this population to grow and a fast pace.

What caught my attention the most was that what we learn in our first year of college is going to be outdated by our third year. WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!! So were basically just going to be wasting/spending money on learning something the isn't even going to matter in the long run. And i think its crazy how much we are repopulating.

I think this means that as a species, we are inventing new things everyday and we are eventually going to be outsmarted by all these products we have created. They say that by 2030-something there will be a computer that will be more intelligent than everyone on the planet. I think thats a huge deal because what if that computer is able to regenerate and all these computers start to roam the world? Also that in China there are about 1,000 people who look just like you. That is craaaaazzzyyyyy. I wouldn't want somebody to look just like me, that would be torture. And my question is, what kinds of jobs are the highest demanding jobs in 2010? If they didn't exist in 2004, then how did they become so high in demand? Its just curiosity, but I think this means we aren't going to last very long as a species.

What also caught my eye was that there are over 70 different languages for facebook now i never knew that. Another one that stuck out to me was how many babies were born in that presentation time all over the world.

That short video really kind of scares me, all these other countries are so far ahead of us now. The USA use to be the best at everything but that just isn't true anymore. Other countries are getting smarter and more and more advanced and Americans are just getting more behind, it's scares me to think where this country will be at in 20 years from now.

I believe it's important for us to be aware of current population trends in order to know if animals are becoming extinct. If we don't keep track of trends we might overkill animals and not set limits on them resulting in extinction. Keeping track of these trends is very important to keep things stable.
