As a matter of fact the opposite is true. Japan's and Germany's population is shrinking as their economy and reliance on technology increases.

The importance of being able to know about population pyramids. A pyramid with a large base and a small top is a undeveloped country cause most of the population does soon. A pyramid with a large middle and top is a developed country because it has health care to care for the older people

Population changes based on the growth of economy and advancements in technolodgy. When a population begings it will start out with a large amount of a younger generation and a smaller number of people in the older generation. As the population developes, the pyrimad will begin to flip because of an decrease of death rates for the older generation, and a decrease in birthrates for the younger population.

Actually pyramids are essential because they allow business and government to provide future services and policy that can benefit countries.

Over time the population for people over 65 grew in both the more developed countries and the not so developed countries. In the more developed countries the population of under 15 got smaller while the population for under 15 increased in less developed countries. Overall the population over 65 increases while the population under 15 decreases. Some key factors to this are advancements in medicine and technology.

So as the 15 year olds mature what could be predicted for that country in 25 years?

Population growth rate are highly dependent on the level of development. The calculation of death and birth rate can be a mager change on the pyramid.

The thing we have to know about the pyramids is that if the top is small and the base is big than the pyramid is known as undeveloped. The pyramids that have the large base, large middle and the top is also health are known as healthy pyramids because the population is good in the country.

Pyramids change over time by either increasing or decreasing in population due to many possible factors such as; food increase/decrease, historical tragedy etc. The key elements that you should know about population pyramids are increasing or decreasing factors such as: work flow, youth, disease, food, and technology. All of these elements affect a population pyramid because for example, disease hits a population and mainly affects the youth population, then the population pyramid will grow fewer in that category.

No not really in most cultures the top part of the pyramids are in decline. Which mean as people age the are more prone to disease, and hence past on. As far as your second comment I am not sure what you mean please give us an example.

The pyramids change over time because as populations grow, more newborns come in because more people means more reproduction.

Of course pyramids change over time as populations grow or shrink what I am asking is: What are the factors that makes them change and what impact will it have on the population as a whole.

Populations can be effected by world events. An example of this is the baby boom that occurred after world war 2. This even t caused the population to increase.

Be more specific on the baby boomers impact on culture and society for instance what is currently taking that was predicted 25 years ago. Hint: work force.

Pyramids change over time because in some cases there may be a baby boom which means a lot of babies are born that causes the number of people in the group 0-5 to increase, and it may also mean that in the 75-79 there may be less people because of deaths;
