Some factors can include, average direct sun light, shade (from other buildings or trees), angle, direction and some others. The biggest factor would be the average amount of sunlight that will hit the solar panel which dramatically affects how much energy is produced. Angle and direction is also an important factor because depending on what hemisphere you are on you would want to point the panels south or north (Southern Hemisphere north, northern hemisphere south). This is important to keep in mind so you can install them on a certain part of a roof.

Shade, like for example a tree covering part of a solar panel can effect how much sunlight the solar panel receives therefor decreasing the amount of voltage it has.

Shade, heat and tilt angle are all factors that affect the voltage output of photovoltaic cells and they must be taken into consideration when making the decision to install the cells or not because they affect the effectiveness of the cells.

There are three factors that affect voltage output on Photovoltaic cells which are heat, shade, tilt. Heat affects solar panels by dropping the voltage output but only slightly. Shade affects solar panels greatly because if their need of sunlight so it drops voltage significantly based on the amount of shade. Tilt is an important factor to think about when installing solar panels so they get the most amount of sun each day

Factors that affect voltage output are shade, tilt, and heat. It is important to know these contributing factors while installing panels on a home in order to make the panels effective and gather the most amount of sun energy.

The effects of the sun, shade, and angle on solar panels are all very important in installing panels, because if you don't get even one of these aspects is off , then you will not have great results in voltage for your panels, and if you paid a lot of money to get them on your house, you won't have as great of a result for your money.

Heat, tilt, and shade all effect the voltage of the solar panels.

Shade, tilt and heat are all factors one should take in consideration when installing solar panels on homes. If Shade is blocking the solar panel then the solar panel will not work efficiently because of low voltage, that is why it is called "solar" panel , because it needs SUN, not shade !!!!. Tilt also affects the solar panels effectiveness greatly, that is why most solar panel installers place them at a 45 degree angle, because at this angle the sun hits it best no matter what season.Lastly another important thing to take in consideration is Heat if it is too hot this can cause malfunction.
