Californians need to conserve energy because according to the graphs and articles a majority of the energy we use is non-renewable energy. Eventually those sources of energy will run out and californias energy needs will not be met.

Scientist believe that the demand for energy will increase by 1% every year until 2035 and our resources are running out, like natural gas and coal.

Californians need to conserve energy because the main source of our energy currently is fossil fuels, which is non-renewable energy. At the rate that we are using energy we will not be able to continue using fossil fuels for a lot longer. California needs to turn to more renewable sources of energy to conserve energy and help the earth, rather than take it's natural resources.

According to the article and graphs, Californians will need to start conserving energy because only 8% of our energy is renewable. This being said, the other 92% is rapidly being used with no way for it to be reubtained. There are only limited amounts of fossil fuels on Earth that only have a one time usage, so we need to start building our energy grid around renewable energy sources instead of non-renewable.

California needs to conserve energy because demand for energy is increasing, while energy supply is decreasing. The reason for the increase in energy demand is a combination of an increase in individual consumer desires and population growth. If our society wishes to continue on as it does today, both of these factors must be minimized.

According to the article many of the sources will soon run out. so we need to change to renewable energy .

Californians need to conserve energy because the electricity demand is projected to increase 1% per year through 2035. This is a problem because many of the energy sources we are dependent upon, such as petroleum and natural gas, are running out.

we need to conserve energy because there is a limit to the amount we can use just like with everything we use it comes to an end so by using bikes instead of cars or car-pooling can help conserve the full we need

The reason that Californian's should conserve energy is because as the earth gets older the more resources we will end up using. In 2009 a majority of our energy is used up in petroleum, taking 37% of what we use, where as we only use 8% of renewable energy. There is only a limited amount of resources on this planet and when we use so much of them at the same pace, there is a chance that we could run out.

According to the article and the graphs above, Californians need to start conserving energy. If our main source of energy is petroleum and natural gas and each year the consumption increases by 0.9% for certain uses then eventually what we use today will run out. As a solution, California needs to start using reusable energy or we can fall similar to Rome. As humans of today's society we are very dependent on energy sources, in the future we will be even more dependent;as a result we need to consider using more renewable energy.

California has many renewable sources of energy. We need to start learning more about them and using them more. Fuel and oil won't last forever. I think we need to use them more before we run out about what we do know which is fuel and oil.

The renewable energy that California only use is only 8% the rest of the 83% is thing that will run out.

Californians need to conserve energy because according to the graph most of the energy expended in California are from non-renewable sources, and will deplete.

Californians need to conserve energy because, we use a majority of nonrenewable resources. Sometime in the near future we are going to run out of these resources such as coal and natural gases, and we won't be prepared to replace the energy, if we don't start conserving and using more renewable energy such as solar and wind power.

California needs to conserve energy because if we keep using all of the non-renewable resources then we will run out in the future and we will have no more energy.
