Examine the graphs under the "Class Averages for Garden Microclimates" heading. Comment on each of the six graphs, in other words, what does each one mean and why do your think each biome (ecosystem) is different even though they are only several feet away from each other?

Temperature for the meadow was cooler because there was dirt and bugs. And then its really hot because of the cement and less plants.

I don't agree with this stament because the medows are ussaly hotter than the grass land. The grass land had a shadow over the grass and the medow had no shade therefore because their is no shadow over the medows and the grassland has shadows that means the grass land is cooler than the medows

Why do you feel the dirt and bugs haver anything to do with tempature? Why dont you feel that the trees and bushes creating an enclosed surroundsings has to do with the cooler tempatures?

The temperature graph had pretty close numbers because all the subjects had moister.the humidity chart had the close numbers because they were humid. The barometric graph didn't have close numbers because they didn't have enough pressure. The dew point chart had different numbers cause they were in the shade and some in the sun.the wind speed graph had different numbers because some of the places had a type of and some didn't. Meadow chart had some high numbers because they had some plants or moister.

Each ecosystem is different even thigh they are in close proximity to each other because they have different plants and that causes different insects to come making each area different and causing the tempuratur and other things to be different. The temperature comparison chart shows the meadow had the lowest and the ag land was the highest. For humidity the meadow was also the lowest and the dessert was the highest. In the barometric pressure the desert had the least and the grassland had the most. Desert also had the highest dew point while a gland had the lowest. Thee desert again got the highest wind speed. The microclimate for the meadow was the highest.

These graphs show that tempature is different depending on the ecosystem. Although the areas may be close the tempatures are different because of things such as plants, animals, sun/shading,ect. Desert had high tempatures in most aspects because of the heat that it gets because of all the sun. The sun will cause its humidity to be high and wind speed to be low. Tempatures of places vary on the weather can change from day to day.

The temperature is cooler in the meadow because of the dirt and plants. Its hotter in ag land because of the less plants and cement. Humidity is lowest in meadow because of the water and highest in the desert because theres less water. Barometric is low on Desert because of the water and high on Grassland because there more water and grass. Dew point is low on ag land because its hotter and higher on Desert because it has more sand. Wind speed for the meadow is shorter because of the water and higher for Desert because its hotter. And Meadow is lower on Wind speed because of the wind and the Temp is high because it depends on how hot and how cold.

graph 1: in the temperature graph, the temperatures vary depending on the surroundings. The meadow is was the coolest because of its surroundings consisting of tall plants and tree that shaded the ground and kept the moisture in and covered the ground almost completely keeping the ground cool. The trees also served as a barrier from the wind. The second coolest place was the grassland. It was a little but warm because it got less shade and not as much coverage to block the wind because of where it was located. the third place; the desert; was even warmer because its dry and covered with rocks atracting the sun to capture warmth and not a lot of coverage of shade and very little plant life. The warmest place was the ag land because it was in the direct way for sunlight with no shade and ground was covered with soil keeping in heat.

The meadow was the coolest biome because of all the shade and tall plants. The tall plants kept the moisture in and the shade helped contain the moisture too making the environment cool. The grassland was a little bit warmer than the meadow because the plants were shorter, meaning there's more sun in that environment making the area hotter. The desert was even warmer than the grassland because that environment is completely dry. Its made up of rocks, sand, and short plants. The environment isn't the hottest because it is inside the walls of the greenhouse and near walls. The Ag land was the hottest environment because it was in the open and completely in the sun. Plus most of the plants in this environment were short, meaning there's barely any shade.

G1-Temp-the meadow had the lowest temperature because it had many tall plants and a tree to shade the area, and it kept the wind out and kept the water in the climate in the ground. The grassland had less shade and fewer plants to create shade, so the temperature was higher. The desert had a higher temperature, but still didn't have the highest temperature because it had some objects to create shade. The ag land had the highest temperature because it had very little shade and few things to block the wind. It also did not have a lot of water in the environment.

In these 4 climates some are similar but none of them are the same. This is because location, plants, and terrain can alter the climate. For example the meadow and ag land are very near eachother however the temperature is much lower in the meadow than the ag land. The trees and mulch are what alters the temp in the meadow.

Graph:1 shows that the meadow was the lowest out of all of them and the AG land was the highest. The reason why the Ag land was the highest is because the environment around it there was no Shade which means the sun was shinning right on the ground which made the water evaporate and caused the ground to have no moisture and make the ground very warm.

the meadow was cooler because it was under a tree and there was a lot of tall plants that gave it shade and caped the cool in and not make it hot

1. For Temperature Comparisons, it looks like Ag land is the highest temperature because there

in the dessert area is more hot because the sun is pointing at that area and there is no trees there to give shades

The temperature for the meadow was the coolest because the ground was moist, there was shade, and there were bugs that help the environment. The Ag Land was hotter because it had less plants and not any shade. The humidity in the meadow was less than the desert because there was more water in the air than there was in the ground. The barometric pressure was highest in the grassland because there were a lot of plants, while the desert had the lowest barometric pressure because there was nothing planted in the ground. The dew point for the desert was higher because it was in the sun a lot, while the Ag Land was most likely watered on a daily notice by people. The wind speed for the desert was the highest because there is nothing around the desert to slow down or block the wind speed like a tree, a bush, a rock, etc. The lowest wind speed was for the meadow because it had a tree and a bench and a bunch of plants. Finally, for the microclimate, the highest was the temperature because it was very hot and the lowest was the wind speed because there wasn't much wind.

Graph 1 the temperature of the meadow was the coolest because it had a lot of trees which kept the moisture in which kept the climate cool where the ag land was hottest because it had little to no shade which made the soil more dry and mad the climate hotter
